THE CITY OF MEDFORD HAS STEPPED UP IN HELPING OUT LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS DURING THE C-VIRUS PANDEMIC. THE CITY COUNCIL, LAST THURSDAY, APPROVED ABOUT $100,000 IN FUNDS THAT WILL GO TOWARD LOCAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS AND INITIATIVES. THOSE ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDE PLACES LIKE ST. VINCENT DE PAUL AND ACCESS, WHICH THE CITY CUT CHECKS FOR ABOUT $35,000. THE CITY IS NOW LOOKING AT WAYS TO BEST USE THE REMAINING CASH TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY.
