A HOMELESS MAN FACES CHARGES OF ARSON AND CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, HE’S ADMITTED TO STARTING 5 FIRES IN GRANTS PASS.. INCLUDING MULTIPLE THIS WEEKEND. THE JOSEPHINE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS THE FIRES WERE STARTED ON B-L-M LAND SUNDAY, BURNING ON WALKER MOUNTAIN, NEAR AN ACTIVE HOMELESS CAMP. FIRE CREWS  WERE ABLE TO STOP THE FIRES AFTER THEY BURNED ROUGHLY TWO ACRES.  SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS THEY FOUND THE SUSPECT MONDAY. HE WAS CITED AND RELEASED.
