YOU MAY HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE, BUT YOU DO HAVE SOMETHING TO FEAR...
This morning, a listener trotted out the tired bromide of "If you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to hide". This was concerning NSA and other government surveillance. However, a cursory glance of the video below lays bare the pure power and evil which agents of the state are capable of doing. THIS is why it's so important not only to have privacy, but also the same rules for the state and the people. (Which is NOT the case in the U.S.)
Note the treatment of this woman at the hand of the agents of the state, based on a suspicion of drinking too much. If you or I were to do this, we'd be arrested, and doing time.
Fearing the state, and its agents, ends when all are held liable for their behavior, regardless of office status or the uniform worn. (H/T to LewRockwell.com)
GUEST INFORMATION 10-15-2013
7:10 State Rep. Sal Esquivel, and we discuss the Columbia River Crossing project. ANOTHER session may be planned?
7:35 Jack Lawrence, with The American Defense Project (AD Project). He's calling on American citizens to contact members of Congress to encourage them to conduct a controlled default on America’s debt as such an action would be in the best interest of future generations of Americans.
8:10 Dale Matthews, BadCounty.com, filled with a video record of Josephine County government actions. Today, Dale discusses the commission's attempt to back away with being at fault over which body brought the new code enforcement regulations into existence. Call it a "mixed memory"...Hmmm.
