On Monday, August 5, 2013, at approximately 8:40 a.m., Medford Police were called to a residence in the 2500 block of Roberts Rd. for a reported burglary.

The victim explained to the police that she and her family had left the house just an hour earlier and when she returned she saw that several rooms in the house had been ransacked and approximately $800 worth of jewelry stolen. It appears entry was made through a bedroom window.

The victim also reported that when she returned home she noticed a suspicious looking male and female sitting on the sidewalk several houses down from hers which made her uncomfortable. After realizing that a burglary had occurred, the victim came back out of the house and noticed that both the male and female were gone.

Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon and the Medford Police Department would like your help in possibly identifying these two suspects. The male was described as being a white male adult in his mid 20's to mid 30's with dark hair and wearing a baggy white t-shirt. The female was about the same age, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, heavy set, her dark hair worn in a bun and wearing a tan-colored tank top. Both subjects were carrying backpacks. If you can identify these suspects, please contact Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 1-800-850-0580 and refer to case number KMED 080713.

Mercedes-Benz of Medford will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and the filing of charges, and you can remain anonymous.
