YES, VIRGINIA, THE OBAMACARE MANDATE IS TOOTHLESS

Have received many emails questioning my assertion that the Obamacare "tax" penalty mandate is toothless. Well, it's true. All the talkers and talking heads claiming "The IRS will Come After You" are DEAD WRONG.

The IRS will collect the penalty for not having insurance. However, they can't use recorded liens and levies. The only guarantee of collecting the penalty from someone who does not want to pay it is to offset a refund due the taxpayer. That the mandate is so toothless, and could potentially hurt the financial viability of the program, makes me wonder if Obamacare is designed to fail. This failure would strengthen the cries for "Single Payer Healthcare". They cynic in me believes this is what the powers truly want.
