Four fire agencies responded to a 2-alarm house fire in Jacksonville last night. Crews from Applegate, Jacksonville, Fire District No. 5 and Medford arrived at the home on Lomas Road around midnight. Responders reported flames reaching 100 feet in size. All three occupants of the home were able to escape safely, but the structure was deemed a total loss. Fire crews are continuing to mop up the scene and find the cause of the blaze.
