A Central Point man is dead after a motorcycle crash late yesterday afternoon along Highway 238. Police say a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by 54-year-old Scott David Nuckles, was eastbound when it failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle drove off the highway and collided head-on with a power pole. Nuckles was pronounced dead at the scene. Speed is being considered as a possible factor in the crash.
