Police in Grants Pass responded to the report of a stabbing on N.W. B Street this morning. Police arrived just after midnight to 25-year-old Joshua Anthony Hernandez bleeding from two stab wounds to the chest. Hernandez underwent emergency surgery at Rogue Regional Medical Center. Police say that Hernandez had been involved in an argument with 19-year-old Arturo Ivan Sanchez, who allegedly stabbed Hernandez and then fled the scene before police arrived. He was arrested a short time later and lodged in the Josephine County Jail.
