Kudos to the Mail Tribune for shining an extra light on one of government's most evil programs - Civil forfeiture laws. Been talking of this for years - government can't connect you to a crime, you're not convicted of a crime, you may not be even charged with a crime. But you "smell fishy", or just have too much cash with you, hence we steal and keep what's yours, thereby depriving you of the ability to defend yourself in the "land of the free". The government will stop at nothing in its "War against plants and substances we don't like". Make no mistake, this war is ultimately a war on YOU.

Locally, some sanity erupts over the Newtown Massacre:  Rep. Dennis Richardson calls for allowing the arming and training of teachers. Common sense from a government sheepdog who "gets it". Naturally, the delusional government sheep types (the same ones who believe 8 percent Pers guarantees are sustainable) are shocked. They believe you can ban, restrict, or well-intent your way to safety utopia.

Men and women who "get it" understand that evil and crazy people will always exist, and there are times and places when the adults on the scene of evil action may be the only ones who can help. They MUST be able to fight. Turning the schools, or the country for that matter, into a disarmed "Prison Planet" only benefits government dictatorships, and is not the answer for a thinking, free people.

Though it might be unpopular with some, real-life experience demostrates that the only action which fights mass shooters, is a person, or persons, willing and able to shoot back. Here's a clip of Jeanne Assam, a woman who saved the day at the New Hope Church shooting earlier this year.

6:35 State Rep. Richardson discusses his plan to arm teachers.

7:10 An excellent talk on economics and fiscal cliff negotiations with Edward Conard, author of "Unintended Consequences: Why Everything You've Been Told About the Economy is Wrong". We discuss the Republican fiscal cliff strategy isn't working, what's really going on in the economy.

7:35 Dr. Stephen Johnson, and we kick around how to turn young men into well-adjusted adult men. His book is The Sacred Path: The Way of the Spiritual Warrior is intended to address the issues that are the most relevant to men and those who care about men. The ultimate goal of this book is that it will contribute to the cause of creating more safety for men to experience the vulnerability necessary to foster greater intimacy within their relationships.

8:10 Kevin Starrett, Oregon Firearms Federation, Post CT issues, and Dennis Richardson's call to arm and train teachers who want to be trained.
