Maintenance crews from the Oregon Department of Transportation have been busy cleaning up after this past weekend's storm that brought heavy rain and wind to the region. The worst damage occured on Powers Highway where 180-foot secton of the roadway collapsed 12 to 14 feet toward the South Fork Coquille River. Closer to home, storm water pushed an eight-foot diameter culvert straight into the air off the southbound shoulder of I-5 between Central Point and Medford. Another storm is expected to hit the region tonight.
