Medford police are currently searching for the suspect who robbed the U.S. Bank branch on North Phoenix Road Saturday afternoon. Just before 4 p.m., the suspect entered the bank and demanded money. No weapon was seen during the robbery. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. He's described as a white male, 6' 2" with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket and light colored pants. His face was covered, and he was carrying a large black umbrella.
And police responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Shilo Inn on Biddle Road last night. At approximately 9:52 p.m., the suspect entered the business and brandished a handgun. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was seen running southwest from the office. The suspect is described as a black male in this twenties, approximately 6' 2" with an athletic build. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a black cap. Contact Medford police if you have any information on either case.
