The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a drive by shooting that occured in Central Point on Tuesday afternoon. Deputies responded to the 6000 block of Truax road to a report of shots fired. According to a witness account, 24-year-old Andrew Caucutt was riding in a red 1993 BMW 3 series when he pulled out a small caliber handgun and fired it at a residence. Police are currently looking for Caucutt and the BMW that has Oregon license plate 385 BSD.
