Today marks one year since the brutal murder of 23-year-old David Grubbs on the bike path in Ashland. Last week, police served search warrants at a property on West Rapp Road in Talent and at a car and apartment in Ashland, searching for evidence. Ashland residents say they want closure for the family and the community, and hope that last week's searches will turn up evidence that will lead authorities to Grubbs' killer. So far, police are keeping tight-lipped as to the results of serving those search warrants.
