Here's that Bill O'Reilly audio I was talking about.
I wish Bill had done his homework. My thoughts from yesterday still apply:
Bill calls for FBI tracking of "heavy weapon sales". Of course he includes AR-15s, and AK's, etc. Yep, regular semi-auto rifles we can all buy. One pull of the trigger, one cartridge fires. He actually thinks fully auto machine gun sales are easy. Machine gun sales to regular citizens are EXTREMELY expensive, taxed heavily, and regulated to the roof. (In our "land of the free")
"All this ammo was purchased online, and the FBI didn't know about it". Yeah, and I've ordered tons of ammo online, too. So what! James Holmes fired 80 or so rounds. What does the legal purchase of ammo have to do with Aurora, Colorado? Nothing. What does Bill O. know about constitutional rights and gun laws? Not much.
In spite of Bill's take, I'm still siding with THIS photo opinion:
