01-25-17: JACKSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HOPE FOR CHANGE WITH NEW PRESIDENT.

JACKSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ARE HOPING THAT SOME CHANGES MAY BE COMING WITH LAND USE ISSUES. THE HOPE IS THAT WITH NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT TRUMP, AND A REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED CONGRESS, THAT THERE WILL BE MORE SYMPATHY TO THEIR CONCERNS ABOUT THE EXPANSION OF THE CASCADE-SISKIYOU NATIONAL MONUMENT. THE MAIL TRIBUNE SAYS THAT THE COMMISSIONERS PLAN TO ASK FOR A STAY ON THE CREATION OF A RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE MONUMENT.
