7:10 Greg Roberts from RogueWeather.com, Mr. Outdoors brings you the Friday Outdoor Report sponsored by Oregon Truck and Auto Authority, powered by Line-X.

8:10 Raynard Jackson, Founder and Chairman of Black Americans for A Better Future chats with Bill this hour.

Today we’ll be talking with Raynard about how there are sealed FBI audio tapes that allege that Martin Luther King Jr. had affairs with 40 women and watched while a friend raped a woman, a report claims. These tapes could tarnish Dr. King’s legacy as a beacon of goodness and hope for all.

On Sunday, the London Times published an explosive story about records of FBI surveillance of Martin Luther King, Jr., that have hitherto been kept secret. They were discovered by David Garrow, a socialist historian whose biography of King titled Bearing the Cross won a Pulitzer prize in 1987. So far, the London Times story has not been picked up by many American news outlets. The New York Times, for example, doesn’t seem to have covered it, nor, as far as I can see, has the Associated Press.

ABOUT: We are the first and only 527 Super PAC, created to get more Blacks involved in the Republican Party.  Our immediate focus is on the Black entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs are the leaders of our community—not the Jesse Jacksons and the Al Sharptons.  We are not aligned with any of the presidential campaigns.  Our goal is to work NOW to be able to deliver at least 15% of the Black vote to our eventual nominee next year.

Republicans average 9% of the Black vote during presidential elections even if we do nothing (Romney got 6%, but that was an anomaly). As founder and chairman of BAFABF, I have traveled the country to meet with some of the top Black businessmen in America—Republican, Democrat, and Independent. Without exception they have all agreed to find ways to support our mission, both financially and otherwise.

6:35  Phil Kerpen, founder of American Commitment talks with Bill today. Should the electric vehicle subsidy be renewed, or allowed to die? We’ll discuss it.

https://www.americancommitment.org/content/let-electric-vehicle-subsidies-die-schedule

The electric vehicle subsidy should be ended.  Phil Kerpen contends that efforts to raise the cap are a cash grab that will force taxpayers to subsidize wealthy Californians for no presently valid reason.  Congress should let the subsidy phase out as scheduled.

7:10 State Senator Dennis Linthicum of Klamath Falls calls us

Senate Republican Whip Dennis Linthicum, R-Klamath Falls, is the chief sponsor of Senate Joint Memorial 12, which calls on Congress to repeal the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, or the Liability-Free Act, which states that “[no] vaccine manufacturer shall be liable in a civil action for damages arising from a vaccine-related injury or death associated with the administration of a vaccine after October 1, 1988, if the injury or death resulted from side effects that were unavoidable even though the vaccine was properly prepared and was accompanied by proper directions and warnings.”

Linthicum released the following statement:

“It is time for Congress to be on the right side of history and to repeal this disastrous law. While it may have been passed with good intentions, the vaccine industry and marketplace have changed dramatically over the last three decades. This blanket protection for pharmaceutical manufacturers is no longer necessary or prudent.”

8:10 Richard Marshall, president of the Siskiyou Water Users Association talks with Bill. The Trump Administration pulls support for Klamath Dam Removal, how might this affect their lawsuit to stop the removal?

8:10 Andrew Langer  President of The Institute For Liberty, and a contributor to The American Spectator, and Townhall.com talks with Bill today.

Three environmental groups sued the federal government on Monday to block the renewal of a 10-year grazing permit for Oregon ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond, The Oregonian reports.

Western Watersheds Project, the Center for Biological Diversity and WildEarth Guardians filed suit against the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), arguing that renewing the Hammonds’ grazing permits violated federal regulations. The BLM and Interior secretary did not consider the Hammonds’ poor record, the environmental groups said according to The Oregonian.

Dwight and his son Steven lost the grazing permit for their ranch in 2014. The Bureau of Land Management denied their application after the pair was convicted of arson in 2012, for which both served stints in prison and paid a fine of $400,000.

President Donald Trump issued a full pardon of the Hammonds in July 2018, springing them from a prison sentence many saw as unfair for the crime.

The ranchers were convicted under an anti-terrorism law that carried a minimum sentence of five years in prison. The fires the Hammonds set burned 140 acres of federal land. Federal Judge Michael Hogan cut their sentences shorter, ruling that forcing the Hammonds to serve out the five-year minimum qualified as “cruel and unusual.”

After the Hammonds were released, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed Hogan’s decision, forcing the ranchers back into prison.
