MONDAY, GOVERNOR KATE BROWN SIGN A BILL THAT REQUIRES RETAILERS TO DESTROY PREVIOUS RECORDS WITHIN 30 DAYS AND PROHIBITS THEM FROM KEEPING THOSE RECORDS IN THE FUTURE. IT’S AN EFFORT TO PROTECT CUSTOMERS IN THE EVENT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DECIDES TO CRACKDOWN ON SALES.
