THE CASE OF AN ASHLAND MAN WHO WAS KILLED, WHILE MIKING ON A TRAIL WEST OF THE CITY HAS BEEN RULED AN ACCIDENT. THE JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS THAT 56 YEAR OLD JOHN THOMAS JR, LOST CONTROL OF HIS BIKE WHILE NEGOTIATING A DIP IN THE TRAIL CAUSING HIM TO CRASH. THOUGH MR. THOMAS WAS WEARING A HELMET, THE CRASH CAUSED SIGNIFICANT HEAD TRAUMA.
