QUITE A LARGE CROWD GATHERED AT YESTERDAY’S JOSEPHINE COUNTY COMMISSIONER’S MEETING. MOST OF THOSE WERE THERE TO EITHER SUPPORT OR OPPOSE NEW MARIJUANA ORDINANCES. ONE SUCH PROPOSAL WOULD BAN NEW COMMERCIAL MARIJUANA OPERATIONS IN RURAL RESITENTIAL ZONES, AND WOULD CALL FOR A SET BACK OF 150 FEET. NEW RULES WOULD ALSO CALL FOR COUNTY INSPECTIONS OF THE GROW SITES AND OPERATIONS. THERE WILL BE A FINAL PUBLIC HEARING ON NOVEMBER 28TH.
