A GRANTS PASS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY WEDNESDAY AFTER A SCHOOL BUS DRIVER OVERHEARD A STUDENT TALK ABOUT BRINGING A GUN TO SCHOOL AND SHOOTING OTHER STUDENTS. THE DRIVER REPORTED IT TO THE GRANTS PASS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, WHO IN TURN, CONTACTED STUDENTS, AND WERE ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE ONE WHO MADE THE STATEMENT. THE STUDENT WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT, AND RELEASED TO THEIR PARENTS.
