WITH A GROWING POPULATION AND AN ABUNDANCE OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL CASES, THE JACKSON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT IS ASKING THE OREGON LEGISLATURE, FOR ONE MORE JUDGE TO HELP EASE THE WORKLOAD. THE MAIL TRIBUNE SAYS THAT AT PRESENT, THE COURT HAS NINE JUDGES, THAT ACCORDING TO THE STATISTICS, HANDLED ABOUT 2,900 CASES EACH IN 2018.
